If you have a pink Part 2 Summons Violation Ticket, you must attend the courthouse noted on the ticket to make your payment.
In order to pay your traffic fines online you will need the following:
A part 3 violation ticket or photo radar ticket.
Your ticket number is ten characters long, beginning and ending with a letter, on the top and bottom left corner of the ticket (i.e. A12345678Z).
If you pay on or before the due date no late charges will be applied and no motor vehicle service restrictions will be levied.
If the ticket is overdue and paid after the due date, late charges will be added to the original fine amount. If you do not pay the full overdue amount, your access to motor vehicle services will be restricted.
Motor vehicle service restrictions may take a number of days to be processed and removed. Please keep your receipt as proof of payment.
If you require registry services while your fine payment is being processed, print and bring your receipt to a registry agent.
A valid credit card.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. We do not accept VISA Debit and prepaid credit cards.
Please use Internet Explorer 8 or above to process your transaction. Other browsers may prevent your transaction from being processed.
Once you are ready, please make your payment. You will be taken to the secure Government of Alberta payment portal to complete your transaction.
You will know your transaction was successful when you reach a page containing the message: Receipt of Payment - Print this Receipt Now. If you did not reach this page, your transaction may not have been completed. If you are unsure about the status of your payment, please contact us.
It may take up to 72 hours for restrictions to be removed.
Motor vehicle services will continue to be restricted unless the full amount of the fine is paid.
Print and keep your receipt as proof of payment.
If you require registry services while your fine payment is being processed, take your printed receipt to a registry agent where service can be provided.
If you wish to dispute any violation ticket you must attend the courthouse noted on the ticket.
There is a service fee of $6.00 plus GST for all fines paid online.
